Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines the practices of Salestrip ("Salestrip," "we," "our," or "us"), including our affiliates, regarding the handling of Data (defined below) we collect, receive, and store from individuals who visit www.salestripsfa.com or other Salestrip websites linking to this policy. It explains how Salestrip utilizes this information, with whom we may share it, and outlines your rights and choices concerning the data you provide or that we collect.

This policy applies to visitors, prospects, and customers of Salestrip worldwide. Where a specific country or region's law gives you additional or different rights (for example, the EU/UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or US state privacy laws), those rights apply to you in addition to the general commitments described here.

If you are a user of Salestrip's services through an organization (e.g., your employer), your use is governed by that organization's policies. Please direct any privacy questions or concerns to your employer or your organization's Salestrip administrator.

As used herein, "personal information" or "personal data" refers to information that identifies or can identify an individual. This includes, for example, your name, address, email address, business contact details, billing information, or information gathered through your interactions with us via our websites or at events.

Introduction to Our Data Practices and Scope

  • User Data Protection: We prioritize the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy clarifies our online data management practices and the choices available to you concerning the collection and use of your Data in relation to the Sites and the Service.
  • Policy Integration with Terms of Service: This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. We strongly advise you to review both before using the Sites or Service. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Sites or the Service.
  • Voluntariness of Data Provision and Policy Amendments: You are under no legal compulsion to provide us with Data. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time; amendments take effect ten (10) days after posting and continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
  • Policy Scope and Our Role: This Privacy Policy applies to all Salestrip employees, prospective employees, customer employees, and website visitors. Salestrip acts as a Data Controller for its own employees and website visitors, and as a Data Processor for our customers and their employees. We adhere to key global and regional data protection frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Europe), Service Organization Control (SOC), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, Thailand), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP, India).

Types of Data Collected and Sources

  • General Access and Service Facilitation: We do not require you to provide Personal Data to access general information on the Sites. We collect data as necessary to facilitate and provide the Service to you.
  • From Customers and Their Employees: Salestrip collects information strictly based on customer requirements, governed by a formal contractual agreement. The customer maintains control over their employees' PII. For inquiries, contact your organization's designated Single Point of Contact (SPOC). Salestrip does not share or distribute customer data except as outlined in the contractual agreement, or as mandated by law.
  • From Salestrip Employees: Categories of Personal Data collected include name, email ID, phone number, address, government ID numbers (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, where applicable), and bank details, used for employment administration.
  • From Website Visitors: Salestrip collects your personal data when you engage with us to register for an event, request information (such as whitepapers or reports), or sign up for a free trial or demo. This information is utilized to set up your account and for service-related communications.
Salestrip employs cookies and website tracking technologies like Google Analytics. These technologies allow us to monitor visits and traffic sources, helping us measure and enhance our site's performance. They provide insights into the popularity of different pages and how visitors navigate the site. For more details on cookies, please refer to our dedicated Cookie Policy.

  • Overview of Data Use and Sharing: We use your Data to deliver and enhance our Service, communicate with you regarding the Service, verify and authenticate your access, send updates and news, respond to "Contact Us" requests, send service and administrative messages, and inform you of critical Service-related notices. We disclose data to comply with law, enforce our Terms, address fraud or security issues, or safeguard rights, property, or safety.
  • For Website Visitors: Data submitted via forms is used to respond to that specific request.

For Planning and Managing Events: Your data is used for event registration, billing, and related communication.

For Improvement Purposes: We analyze data to understand usage patterns and improve our websites and services.

For Security and Investigations: Used to diagnose technical issues and to prevent, detect, and investigate security breaches or fraud.

For Personalizing User Experience: Used to tailor content, features, and relevant advertising.

For Market Research: Used for functionality reporting based on data collected from you.
  • Disclosure of Information: Salestrip shares information with affiliates and contracted third-party vendors who act on our behalf under binding contracts. Salestrip will not disclose customer data unless legally obligated to by statute or a binding governmental/judicial order, and will attempt to redirect such requests to the customer or provide advance notice where legally permitted.

Salestrip does not sell personal data collected or processed under this Privacy Policy.

Data Security Measures

  • We take the security of your Data seriously and apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including:
  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and, where applicable, at rest.
  • Role-based access controls, so employee and administrator access to customer data is limited to what's needed for their function.
  • Hosting on infrastructure with recognized security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001), with regular security reviews.
  • Logging and monitoring of access to production systems to detect unusual activity.
  • Periodic vulnerability assessments and patching of critical systems.
  • No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You're responsible for keeping your own account credentials confidential.

Data Breach Notification

  • If Salestrip becomes aware of a security incident that compromises the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of personal data we control, we will investigate the incident and, where required by applicable law, notify affected individuals and/or the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay. Where Salestrip processes data on behalf of a customer (as a Data Processor), we will notify the affected customer promptly so they can meet their own regulatory obligations.

Exercising Your Rights

  • Exercising Data Subject Rights: To exercise your rights to access, rectification, or erasure of your Data, or to restrict, object to, or port such Data, please contact your Organization's Admin, or reach our support team at [email protected].
  • Opt-Out Procedures: You can stop receiving promotional emails via the "unsubscribe" link in any email. Essential administrative emails (e.g., password resets, Contact Us responses) will still be sent.
  • Data Provision Choice: You may choose not to provide Personal Data, though this may limit your access to certain features requiring authentication.
  • Specific Rights of Individuals:

Right to be Informed: You have the right to be informed about how your personal data is collected and used.

Right to Access: You have the right to request access to your personal data.

Right of Erasure: You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable laws.

Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request restriction of processing under certain circumstances.

Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where permitted by law.

Right to Nominate: You have the right to nominate a representative to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

  • Salestrip will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your data was submitted by or on behalf of a Salestrip customer, please contact your organization's SPOC. Where local law requires us to retain certain data despite an erasure request, we'll notify you of the reason.

Children's Privacy

  • Salestrip's Sites and Service are intended for business use by adults and are not directed at, or structured to attract, children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 18, we will delete it as promptly as possible. If you believe we may hold such information, please contact us at [email protected]

  • Data Retention — Salestrip Employees: Personal information is retained for varying periods depending on category and the nature of the employment relationship, per internal policy and applicable law.
  • Data Retention — Customers and Their Employees: PRetained per the terms of the relevant contractual agreement. The customer defines the retention period for their own data, subject to applicable law.
For details on retention periods for specific categories of data, contact us at [email protected]

Global Privacy Considerations

  • Personal information collected by Salestrip is stored and processed in India or in any other country where Salestrip, its affiliates, or third-party service providers maintain facilities.
  • Where we transfer personal data across borders — for example, from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland to India — we rely on recognized legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law, to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.

Grievance Officer / Data Protection Contact

  • In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable data protection laws, Salestrip has designated a Grievance Officer to address privacy-related complaints and requests. If you have a concern about how your personal data has been handled that hasn't been resolved through our usual support channels, you may escalate it as follows:
    Email: [email protected]
  • We aim to acknowledge grievances within a reasonable timeframe and resolve them as required under applicable law.

Subscription & Billing

  • Salestrip is offered on a subscription basis, billed in advance for the subscription term agreed at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly, annually, or a custom term set out in your order form or agreement).
  • Fees are based on the plan, number of licensed users, and modules selected at the time of purchase, as confirmed in your invoice or order form.
  • Applicable taxes, duties, or levies (e.g., GST, VAT) will be added to the invoiced amount as required by the law of the billing jurisdiction.
  • Payments are processed through our authorized payment partners or via bank transfer, as agreed with your account manager.

No Cancellations & No Refunds

  • Salestrip does not offer cancellations, refunds, or pro-rated credits on subscription fees once a subscription term has begun, except where required by mandatory local consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
  • This applies globally and to all Salestrip products, including but not limited to Salestrip SFA, Salestrip LMS, and any add-on modules. Once an order is confirmed and the subscription term begins, the fees for that term are payable in full and are non-refundable, whether or not the Service is actively used during that period. This includes cases where a customer chooses to stop using the Service, reduces the number of users, or does not renew — the current paid term is not refunded.
  • Because of this policy, we strongly encourage prospective customers to make full use of a product demo, trial period, or proof-of-concept (where offered) before committing to a paid subscription term.

Subscription & Billing

  • Subscriptions do not auto-cancel mid-term; they run the full paid term agreed in your order form or contract.
  • Either party may choose not to renew a subscription at the end of the current term by providing notice as specified in the applicable order form or master service agreement.
  • Applicable taxes, duties, or levies (e.g., GST, VAT) will be added to the invoiced amount as required by the law of the billing jurisdiction.
  • Salestrip may suspend or terminate access to the Service for non-payment, breach of the Terms of Service, or unlawful use, in accordance with the applicable agreement.
  • Termination or suspension of the Service, for any reason, does not entitle the customer to a refund of fees already paid.

Price Changes

  • Salestrip may revise its pricing for future subscription terms. Any price change will be communicated to existing customers in advance of their renewal date and will not affect the fees already agreed for a current, active term.

Disputes on Billing

  • If you believe you have been billed in error, please contact [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the invoice date with your account and invoice details. We will review and respond to billing disputes in good faith, but this does not change the no-cancellation, no-refund policy described above for undisputed charges.

Region-Specific Rights

  • Nothing in this Payment & Cancellation Policy limits any statutory rights you may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country or region that cannot lawfully be waived by agreement. Where such a mandatory right applies, that right will take precedence over the general no-refund policy stated above, solely to the extent required by that law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

  • We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after posting, unless stated otherwise.
